* configure.in (ENABLE_CHECKING): Update comment.
* src/dispextern.h (XASSERTS): Remove.
* src/fontset.c (xassert): Remove.
Convert from xassert to eassert.
* src/alloc.c: Convert from xassert to eassert.
* src/bidi.c: Likewise.
* src/dispnew.c: Likewise.
* src/fns.c: Likewise.
