This reworks the applet icon, so that doesn't look out of place in
modern desktop environments that utilize it, such as Xfce.
It does away with custom icons and the animation in favor of standard
symbolic icons provided by the desktop theme, making things more
consistent and simple along the way.

This makes get_device_class_from_connection() callers' a chance to deal
with unknown classes themselves instead of the inconvenience of
guessing whether the device class is known in advance.

The call to gtk_tree_sortable_set_sort_column_id expects a column ID
followed by a GtkSortType, but at some point the argument enumerations
seem to have been mixed up. Corrected through the use of the appropriate
constant for sort ordering.

Wi-Fi connections were being always created with the default of
connection.permissions=user:<current_user>. Now create them with empty
permissions ("All users may connect to this network") if the user is
authorized to create/modify system connections, similar to the logic in
other clients.
