* ARM: 5910/1: ARM: Add tmp register for addruart and loadspTony Lindgren2010-02-121-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Otherwise more complicated uart configuration won't be possible. We can use r1 for tmp register for both head.S and debug.S. NOTE: This patch depends on another patch to add the the tmp register into all debug-macro.S files. That can be done with: $ sed -i -e "s/addruart,rx|addruart, rx/addruart, rx, tmp/" arch/arm/*/include/*/debug-macro.S Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* ARM: fix clps711x, footbridge, integrator, ixp2000, ixp2300 and s3c build bugRussell King2009-12-131-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | Anders Grafström reports that footbridge fails to build after 1c4a4f4. Fix this by adding the necessary definitions for __pfn_to_bus and __bus_to_pfn. Reported-by: Anders Grafström <anders.grafstrom@netinsight.net> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* ARM: integrator: allow Integrator to be built with highmemRussell King2009-10-251-0/+1
| | | | | | | | This fixes Integrator builds with highmem enabled; we need to translate from 'struct page' to a DMA address, and this is not possible without __pfn_to_bus(). Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* nommu: Add MMU-less support for Integrator platformsCatalin Marinas2009-07-241-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | This patch redefines the IO_ADDRESS macro in include/asm-arm/hardware.h. Signed-off-by: Catalin Marinas <catalin.marinas@arm.com>
* [ARM] pass reboot command line to arch_reset()Russell King2009-03-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | OMAP wishes to pass state to the boot loader upon reboot in order to instruct it whether to wait for USB-based reflashing or not. There is already a facility to do this via the reboot() syscall, except we ignore the string passed to machine_restart(). This patch fixes things to pass this string to arch_reset(). This means that we keep the reboot mode limited to telling the kernel _how_ to perform the reboot which should be independent of what we request the boot loader to do. * [ARM] integrator: parenthesize __virt_to_bus/__bus_to_virt argumentRussell King2008-11-301-2/+2
| | | | | | | Macro arguments should be parenthesized to avoid unexpected side effects. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] Hide ISA DMA API when ISA_DMA_API is unsetRussell King2008-11-291-19/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | When ISA_DMA_API is unset, we're not implementing the ISA DMA API, so there's no point in publishing the prototypes via asm/dma.h, nor including the machine dependent parts of that API. This allows us to remove a lot of mach/dma.h files which don't contain any useful code. Unfortunately though, some platforms put their own private non-ISA definitions into mach/dma.h, so we leave these behind and fix the appropriate #include statments. | * [ARM] remove a common set of __virt_to_bus definitionsNicolas Pitre2008-11-281-8/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Let's provide an overridable default instead of having every machine class define __virt_to_bus and __bus_to_virt to the same thing. What most platforms are using is bus_addr == phys_addr so such is the default. One exception is ebsa110 which has no DMA what so ever, so the actual definition is not important except only for proper compilation. Also added a comment about the special footbridge bus translation. Let's also remove comments alluding to set_dma_addr which is not (and should not) be commonly used. * | [ARM] integrator: convert to clkdev and lookup clocks by device nameRussell King2008-11-271-0/+25
|/ | | | | | | | | | | People often point to the Integrator/Versatile/Realview implementations to justify using the consumer name as the sole selector for clocks. Eliminate this excuse by changing the Integrator implementation, so it provides a better example of how it should be done. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] integrator,realview,versatile: remove FLASH_* and EPROM_* constantsRussell King2008-11-131-18/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | FLASH_* and EPROM_* constants are unused, and clash with drivers: drivers/atm/ambassador.h:257:1: warning: "FLASH_BASE" redefined drivers/atm/ambassador.h:258:1: warning: "FLASH_SIZE" redefined drivers/atm/iphase.h:332:1: warning: "EPROM_SIZE" redefined so remove them. * [ARM] 5191/1: ARM: remove CVS keywordsAdrian Bunk2008-08-161-2/+0
| | | | | | | This patch removes CVS keywords that weren't updated for a long time. Signed-off-by: Adrian Bunk <bunk@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] Move include/asm-arm/arch-* to arch/arm/*/include/machRussell King2008-08-0716-0/+1037
This just leaves include/asm-arm/plat-* to deal with. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
