* USB: dwc3: Remove redundant license textGreg Kroah-Hartman2017-11-071-9/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that the SPDX tag is in all USB files, that identifies the license in a specific and legally-defined manner. So the extra GPL text wording can be removed as it is no longer needed at all. This is done on a quest to remove the 700+ different ways that files in the kernel describe the GPL license text. And there's unneeded stuff like the address (sometimes incorrect) for the FSF which is never needed. No copyright headers or other non-license-description text was removed. * USB: add SPDX identifiers to all remaining files in drivers/usb/Greg Kroah-Hartman2017-11-041-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It's good to have SPDX identifiers in all files to make it easier to audit the kernel tree for correct licenses. Update the drivers/usb/ and include/linux/usb* files with the correct SPDX license identifier based on the license text in the file itself. The SPDX identifier is a legally binding shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler plate text. This work is based on a script and data from Thomas Gleixner, Philippe Ombredanne, and Kate Stewart. * usb: dwc3: host: pass quirk-broken-port-ped property for known broken revisionsFelipe Balbi2017-01-261-3/+18
| | | | | | | | | | | dwc3 revisions <=3.00a have a limitation where Port Disable command doesn't work. Set the quirk-broken-port-ped property for such controllers so XHCI core can do the necessary workaround. [rogerq@ti.com] Updated code from platform data to device property. * usb: dwc3: use bus->sysdev for DMA configurationArnd Bergmann2016-11-181-10/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | The dma ops for dwc3 devices are not set properly. So, use a physical device sysdev, which will be inherited from parent, to set the hardware / firmware parameters like dma. * usb: dwc3: host: Fix broken XHCI hostRoger Quadros2016-07-011-1/+42
| | | | | | | | | | | Looks like we lost all changes related to commit 9522def40065 ("usb: dwc3: core: cleanup IRQ resources") in host.c when Felipe's next branch was merged into Greg's next branch. Fixes 215db948181 ("Merge tag 'usb-for-v4.8' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/balbi/usb into usb-next") Signed-off-by: Roger Quadros <rogerq@ti.com> Acked-by: Felipe Balbi <felipe.balbi@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>

* usb: dwc3: make LPM configurable in DTRobert Baldyga2015-03-101-3/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | This patch removes "Enable USB3 LPM Capability" option from Kconfig and adds snps,usb3_lpm_capable devicetree property instead of it. USB3 LPM (Link Power Management) capability is hardware property, and it's platform dependent, so if our hardware supports this feature, we want rather to configure it in devicetree than having it as Kconfig option. * usb: dwc3: host: convey the PHYs to xhciHeikki Krogerus2014-11-221-6/+16
| | | | | | | | | | | | On some platforms a PHY may need to be handled also in the host controller driver. Exynos5420 SoC requires some "PHY tuning" based on the USB speed. This patch delivers dwc3's PHYs to the xhci platform device when it's created. * dwc3: host: Enable USB3 LPM capabilityPratyush Anand2014-07-091-0/+14
| | | | | | | | | | | All dwc3 based xhci host controller supports USB3.0 LPM functionality. Therefore enable it in platform data for all dwc3 based xhci device if DWC3_HOST_USB3_LPM_ENABLE is selected in Kconfig. * usb: dwc3: switch to GPL v2 onlyFelipe Balbi2013-07-291-27/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This is a Linux-only driver which makes use of GPL-only symbols. It makes no sense to maintain Dual BSD/GPL licensing for this driver. Considering that the amount of work to use this driver in any different operating system would likely be as large as developing the driver from scratch and considering that we depend on GPL-only symbols, we will switch over to a GPL v2-only license. * usb: dwc3: core: split host address spaceIdo Shayevitz2012-04-241-17/+2
