From dc1e1f5e236e519cce00b7da5ef0bebb6d3511b7 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Paul Smith Date: Wed, 9 May 2007 02:01:53 +0000 Subject: Fix Savannah bug #19656: rationalize our use of case-insensitive string comparison functions to always use POSIX strcasecmp(). For non-POSIX systems that use other functions (strcmpi or stricmp) use a macro to alias strcasecmp to those. If we can't find any of them (VMS, plus whatever UNIX doesn't have them) then define our own version in misc.c. --- acinclude.m4 | 3 --- 1 file changed, 3 deletions(-) (limited to 'acinclude.m4') diff --git a/acinclude.m4 b/acinclude.m4 index c98da21e..69e6c073 100644 --- a/acinclude.m4 +++ b/acinclude.m4 @@ -62,9 +62,6 @@ fi # AC_CHECK_FUNCS(gethostbyname,,[ CF_RECHECK_FUNC(gethostbyname,nsl,cf_cv_netlibs)]) -# -AC_CHECK_FUNCS(strcasecmp,,[ - CF_RECHECK_FUNC(strcasecmp,resolv,cf_cv_netlibs)]) ]) LIBS="$LIBS $cf_cv_netlibs" test $cf_test_netlibs = no && echo "$cf_cv_netlibs" >&AC_FD_MSG -- cgit v1.2.1
