Add dependency on ${misc:Depends} to openvswitch-brcompat and ovsdbmonitor.
As reported by Lintian:
The source package uses debhelper, but it does not include
${misc:Depends} in the given binary package's debian/control entry.
Any debhelper command may add dependencies to ${misc:Depends} that
are required for the work that it does, so recommended best
practice is always add ${misc:Depends} to the dependencies of each
binary package if debhelper is in use.
Refer to the debhelper(7) manual page for details.

This adds support for bridge compatibility to the generic Open vSwitch
init scripts and to the Debian packaging.
See https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openvswitch/+bug/808224.

This should make it easier to add OVS support to new distributions.

ovs-pcap,.ovs-tcpundump, and ovs-vlan-test are all written in Python, so
openvswitch-switch needs to depend on Python.

The functionality provided by this package was used only by
openvswitch-switch-config, which was removed some time ago. If I had been
more careful at the time, I would have removed this package at the same
time.

Remove ${shlibs:Depends} dependency from openvswitch-pki

There have been a number of important bug fixes since 0.8~alpha20090903,
so require at least the newer package.

This should prevent Debian builds from failing on non-GNU/Linux
architectures (or possibly succeeding but producing a binary that is not
useful).

"make check" runs "ps" so the procps package is necessary. With this
change, I was able on Friday to make the Open vSwitch Debian packages build
successfully under the "sbuild" suite used by the Debian autobuilders, so
I hope that this fixes at least some of the Debian buildd problems.

Stable versions of ipsec-tools have a bug that prevents our using
transport mode through a NAT box. Even though the bug has been fixed
for years, it is only available in the 0.8 alpha release of ipsec-tools.
This commit modifies our configuration to allow NAT traversal with that
version of ipsec-tools.
NB: An official package for this version of ipsec-tools is not yet
available on Debian, so we're requiring a custom version number.

The ethtool package is only used to help ovs-bugtool create bug
reports and does not prevent the script from running if it's
missing. Making it a requirement for installation is a bit
draconian.

The ovs-monitor-ipsec daemon monitors the Interface table for GRE
entries. If an entry specifies other-config parameters "ipsec-local-ip"
and ("ipsec-psk" or "ipsec-cert"), it will create the appropriate
security associations so that all GRE traffic to the remote host will be
encrypted. In order for the two GRE tunnels to communicate, both sides
need to be configured for IPsec with appropriate authentication.
Currently, ovs-monitor-ipsec does not support certificate authentication
or ensure that an interface is actually attached to a bridge. Both of
these issues will be addressed in a forthcoming patch.
NB: While GRE-over-IPsec should work on any system with a relatively
recent racoon and setkey, it has only been tested on Debian. As such,
only Debian packaging has been provided.

use it here too. I've had annoyed emails from folks when I am not
consistent about this, so fix it proactively.

These utilities were useful when Nicira was building switches with 16x2 LCD
front panel displays, but they aren't useful for other environments and
even Nicira does not use that kind of switch any longer. So remove them
and all the build infrastructure on which they depended.

Lintian was complaining about empty binary packages for nicira-switch
and openvswitch-pki. By clarifying that they are a "meta-package" or
"dependency package", it shuts Lintian up.

Our configure scripts were actually using Autoconf features introduced in
version 2.64 (e.g. AT_SKIP_IF, AT_CHECK_UNQUOTED), so we should not
claim 2.63 as prerequisite.

starts and stops the programs and loads and unloads the kernel modules at
the right times, but it has not been tested beyond that.

According to lintian:
> The source package uses debhelper but it does not use ${misc:Depends} in

Fixed by adding ${misc:Depends} as a dependency to all binary packages that
didn't already have it.

NOX packages depend on a particular version of openvswitch-pki, which
depends on openvswitch-common without specifying a version. This meant
that the installed versions of openvswitch-pki and openvswitch-common
could easily get out of sync. This commit makes all of the dependencies
among openvswitch packages specify an explicit version, which should fix
this problem.

We've gone through a couple of iterations for names of these mailing
lists. Currently, there are three: announce, discuss, and git. There
are aliases that point "bugs" and "dev" to the "discuss" mailing list.
This commit drops the "ovs-" prefix to mailing lists, since we're not
using them.
