From 646853bdd8b1337204643aa014ff3f1f49d91a4f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Topi Miettinen Date: Tue, 13 Sep 2016 06:20:38 +0000 Subject: fileio: simplify mkostemp_safe() (#4090) According to its manual page, flags given to mkostemp(3) shouldn't include O_RDWR, O_CREAT or O_EXCL flags as these are always included. Beyond those, the only flag that all callers (except a few tests where it probably doesn't matter) use is O_CLOEXEC, so set that unconditionally. --- src/test/test-clock.c | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'src/test/test-clock.c') diff --git a/src/test/test-clock.c b/src/test/test-clock.c index 84f775e5bc..7d97328416 100644 --- a/src/test/test-clock.c +++ b/src/test/test-clock.c @@ -55,7 +55,7 @@ static void test_clock_is_localtime(void) { /* without an adjtime file we default to UTC */ assert_se(clock_is_localtime("/nonexisting/adjtime") == 0); - fd = mkostemp_safe(adjtime, O_WRONLY|O_CLOEXEC); + fd = mkostemp_safe(adjtime); assert_se(fd >= 0); log_info("adjtime test file: %s", adjtime); f = fdopen(fd, "w"); -- cgit v1.2.1
