* common: Move some SMP functions out of common.hSimon Glass2019-12-021-0/+1
| | | | | | | These functions belong in cpu_func.h so move them over. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini2018-05-071-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* mmc: arm_pl180_mmci: update arm_pl180_mmci_init() prototypePatrice Chotard2017-11-171-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | Update arm_pl180_mmci_init() prototype by adding struct mmc** param. This is needed before converting this driver to driver model in order to use arm_pl180_mmci_init() in driver model and in none driver model implementation Signed-off-by: Patrice Chotard <patrice.chotard@st.com>
* arm: Add explicit include of <asm/mach-types.h>Simon Glass2017-06-051-0/+1
| | | | | | | | Rather than relying on common.h to provide this include, which is going away at some point, include it explicitly in each file. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* board_f: Drop setup_dram_config() wrapperSimon Glass2017-04-051-1/+3
| | | | | | | | By making dram_init_banksize() return an error code we can drop the wrapper. Adjust this and clean up all implementations. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>
* ARM: Clean up CONFIG_ARMV7_NONSEC/VIRT/PSCI conditionsJan Kiszka2015-05-131-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_ARMV7_VIRT depends on CONFIG_ARMV7_NONSEC, thus doesn't need to be taken into account additionally. CONFIG_ARMV7_PSCI is only set on boards that support CONFIG_ARMV7_NONSEC, and it only works on those. * lib: time: add weak timer_init() functionDarwin Rambo2014-01-241-5/+0
| | | | | | | | | | If timer_init() is made a weak stub function, then it allows us to remove several empty timer_init functions for those boards that already have a timer initialized when u-boot starts. Architectures that use the timer framework may also remove the need for timer.c. Signed-off-by: Darwin Rambo <drambo@broadcom.com> Reviewed-by: Tim Kryger <tim.kryger@linaro.org>

* ARM: VExpress: enable ARMv7 virt support for VExpress A15Andre Przywara2013-10-031-0/+15
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | To enable hypervisors utilizing the ARMv7 virtualization extension on the Versatile Express board with the A15 core tile, we add the required configuration variable. Also we define the board specific smp_set_cpu_boot_addr() function to set the start address for secondary cores in the VExpress specific manner. There is no need to provide a custom smp_waitloop() function here. This also serves as an example for what to do when adding support for new boards. * ARM: vexpress: create A5 specific board configRyan Harkin2013-05-231-6/+23
| | | | | | | | | | | | This patch creates a new config for the A5 dual core tile that includes the generic config for the Versatile Express platform. The generic config has been modified to provide support for the Extended Memory Map, as used on the A5 core tile. A5 does not support the legacy memory map. * ARM: vexpress: refactoring of Versatile Express CA9x4 supportRyan Harkin2013-05-231-0/+257
The current ca9x4_ct_vxp platform contains support for a Versatile Express motherboard with a quad core A9 core tile. This patch separates the Versatile Express motherboard code and the A9 specific code, to ease supporting more core tiles in the next patches. Andre: merged the first two of Ryan's original patches and did some checkpatch fixes. Signed-off-by: Ryan Harkin <ryan.harkin@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Andre Przywara <andre.przywara@linaro.org>
