| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Falcon mode is very useful in improving boot speed. A question that Falcon mode asks is "Where do I look for the kernel". With MMC boot media, the correct answer is CONFIG_SYS_MMCSD_RAW_MODE_KERNEL_SECTOR. The scope of this patch is to move this to Kconfig. It is possible for a system to support Falcon mode from NOR but not MMC. In that case, mmc_load_image_raw_os() would not be used. To address this, conditionally compile mmc_load_image_raw_os() when SPL_FALCON_BOOT_MMCSD, instead of SPL_OS_BOOT. Additionally enable PCI_INIT_R to scan for PCI devices on init such as the e1000 that is present on the GW552x. Convert board_pci_fixup to use dm callback and remove pcidisable env variable which is not supported for DM_PCI and thus leave PCI always enabled during init. In some cases, this is handled via board-specific Kconfig options. In other cases we make use of CONFIG_SYS_EXTRA_OPTIONS. This latter case however can lead to invalid configurations as we will not in turn get options that in Kconfig are selected by or depend on that setting. To resolve this, make the SoC option a choice in Kconfig and make boards depend on what they can support. This change opens us up for further clean-ups in the cases where a single CONFIG_TARGET_xxx can support different SoCs and today they do not, or do not cleanly do so.
