* mmc: uniphier-sd: Add compatible strings for RCar Gen2Marek Vasut2018-02-231-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | Add DT compatible strings for RCar Gen2 SoCs, so that this driver can bind with them. Unlike Gen3, which uses 64bit FIFO, the Gen2 uses 16bit FIFO. * mmc: uniphier-sd: Add vqmmc regulator supportMarek Vasut2017-09-291-0/+13
| | | | | | | | | | Add initial support for setting the vqmmc regulator. Since we do not support 1V8 modes, set the regulator to 3V3 and enable it. * mmc: uniphier-sd: Update the file to match V3 patchsetMarek Vasut2017-09-291-41/+42
| | | | | | | | | | | Old version of the uniphier-sd 64bit IO support patchset V1 was applied by the maintainer, update the uniphier-sd.c with the changes from the V3 of the patchset. * mmc: uniphier-sd: Add support for R8A7795 and R7A7796Marek Vasut2017-09-221-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | Add OF match entries and quirks for Renesas RCar Gen3 controllers into the driver. The IP this driver handles is in fact Matsushita one and in used both in Socionext and Renesas chips. * mmc: uniphier-sd: Add support for quirksMarek Vasut2017-09-221-9/+14
| | | | | | | | | | | | Check if the OF match has any associated data and if so, use those data as the controller quirks, otherwise fallback to the old method of reading the controller version register to figure out the quirks. This allows us to supply controller quirks on controllers which ie. do not have version register. * mmc: uniphier-sd: Add support for 64bit FIFOMarek Vasut2017-09-221-10/+74
| | | | | | | | | | The Renesas RCar Gen3 contains the same controller, originally Matsushita. This patch adds support for handling of the 64bit FIFO on this controller. * mmc: uniphier-sd: Add support for 64bit controllerMarek Vasut2017-09-221-2/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The Renesas RCar Gen3 contains the same controller, originally Matsushita, yet the register addresses are shifted by 1 to the left. The whole controller is also 64bit, including the data FIFOs and RSP registers. This patch adds support for handling the register IO by shifting the register offset by 1 in the IO accessor functions. * mmc: uniphier-sd: Factor out register IOMarek Vasut2017-09-221-52/+63
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch prepares the driver to support controller(s) with registers at locations shifted by constant. Pull out the readl()/writel() from the driver into separate functions, where the adjustment of the register offset can be easily contained. * dma: import linux/dma-direction.h to consolidate enum dma_data_directionMasahiro Yamada2017-09-121-1/+1

* mmc: uniphier-sd: Fix long response processingMarek Vasut2017-08-171-7/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | The long response entry 0..3 LSByte comes from the next response register MSByte, not from the next response register LSByte. Fix this to make the driver report correct values in response 136 . * dm: Rename dev_addr..() functionsSimon Glass2017-06-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | These support the flat device tree. We want to use the dev_read_..() prefix for functions that support both flat tree and live tree. So rename the existing functions to avoid confusion. In the end we will have: 1. dev_read_addr...() - works on devices, supports flat/live tree 2. devfdt_get_addr...() - current functions, flat tree only 3. of_get_address() etc. - new functions, live tree only All drivers will be written to use 1. That function will in turn call either 2 or 3 depending on whether the flat or live tree is in use. Note this involves changing some dead code - the imx_lpi2c.c file. * dm: Use dm.h header when driver mode is usedSimon Glass2017-06-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | This header includes things that are needed to make driver build. Adjust existing users to include that always, even if other dm/ includes are present Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* dm: core: Replace of_offset with accessorSimon Glass2017-02-081-2/+3
| | | | | | | | | At present devices use a simple integer offset to record the device tree node associated with the device. In preparation for supporting a live device tree, which uses a node pointer instead, refactor existing code to access this field through an inline function. * mmc: uniphier-sd: migrate to CONFIG_BLKMasahiro Yamada2016-09-141-26/+24

* mmc: uniphier-sd: return error code if unsupported width is givenMasahiro Yamada2016-08-281-5/+9
| | | | | | | | With the CONFIG_DM_MMC_OPS migration, the .set_ios callback can return an integer now. Return an appropriate error value rather than sudden death by BUG(). Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>
* mmc: uniphier-sd: move uniphier_sd_init() belowMasahiro Yamada2016-08-281-21/+19
| | | | | | | | No more reason to define this function above the ops structure. Move it near the caller. Also, change its return type to void because it never fails. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>
* mmc: uniphier-sd: migrate to CONFIG_DM_MMC_OPSMasahiro Yamada2016-08-281-47/+50
| | | | | | | | | Catch up with the DM migration. As struct dm_mmc_ops does not have .init callback, call the init function directly from the probe function. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>

* ARM: uniphier: use (devm_)ioremap() instead of map_sysmem()Masahiro Yamada2016-07-241-4/+3
| | | | | | | | This does not have much impact on behavior, but makes code look more more like Linux. The use of devm_ioremap() often helps to delete .remove callbacks entirely. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>
* clk: convert API to match reset/mailbox styleStephen Warren2016-06-191-7/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The following changes are made to the clock API: * The concept of "clocks" and "peripheral clocks" are unified; each clock provider now implements a single set of clocks. This provides a simpler conceptual interface to clients, and better aligns with device tree clock bindings. * Clocks are now identified with a single "struct clk", rather than requiring clients to store the clock provider device and clock identity values separately. For simple clock consumers, this isolates clients from internal details of the clock API. * clk.h is split so it only contains the client/consumer API, whereas clk-uclass.h contains the provider API. This aligns with the recently added reset and mailbox APIs. * clk_ops .of_xlate(), .request(), and .free() are added so providers can customize these operations if needed. This also aligns with the recently added reset and mailbox APIs. * clk_disable() is added. * All users of the current clock APIs are updated. * Sandbox clock tests are updated to exercise clock lookup via DT, and clock enable/disable. * rkclk_get_clk() is removed and replaced with standard APIs. Buildman shows no clock-related errors for any board for which buildman can download a toolchain. test/py passes for sandbox (which invokes the dm clk test amongst others). * mmc: uniphier: use devm_get_addr() to get base addressMasahiro Yamada2016-04-011-3/+6
| | | | | | | | | Currently, fdtdec_get_addr_size() does not support the address translation, so it cannot handle device trees with non-straight "ranges" properties. (This would be a problem with DTS for UniPhier ARMv8 SoCs.) Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>
