* WS cleanup: remove SPACE(s) followed by TABWIP/2021-09-30-whitespace-cleanupsWolfgang Denk2021-09-301-2/+2

* common: Drop asm/global_data.h from common headerWIP/2021-02-02-drop-asm_global_data-when-unusedSimon Glass2021-02-021-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding another large header or in other cases replacing / adding missing header files that had been pulled in, very indirectly. Finally, we have a few cases where we did not need to include <asm/global_data.h> at all, so remove that include. * dm: Avoid accessing seq directlySimon Glass2020-12-181-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | At present various drivers etc. access the device's 'seq' member directly. This makes it harder to change the meaning of that member. Change access to go through a function instead. The drivers/i2c/lpc32xx_i2c.c file is left unchanged for now. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* dm: treewide: Rename ofdata_to_platdata() to of_to_plat()Simon Glass2020-12-131-2/+2
| | | | | | | This name is far too long. Rename it to remove the 'data' bits. This makes it consistent with the platdata->plat rename. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* dm: treewide: Rename auto_alloc_size members to be shorterSimon Glass2020-12-131-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | This construct is quite long-winded. In earlier days it made some sense since auto-allocation was a strange concept. But with driver model now used pretty universally, we can shorten this to 'auto'. This reduces verbosity and makes it easier to read. Coincidentally it also ensures that every declaration is on one line, thus making dtoc's job easier. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

* watchdog: orion_wdt: take timeout value in msChris Packham2019-04-121-4/+19
| | | | | | | | | | | The generic wdt_start API expects to be called with the timeout in milliseconds. Update the orion_wdt driver to accept a timeout in milliseconds and use the clock rate specified in the dts to convert the timeout to an appropriate value for the timer reload register. * watchdog: orion_wdt: support SPL usageChris Packham2019-04-121-3/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | When run from the SPL the mvebu targets are using the hardware default offset for the SoC peripherals. devfdt_get_addr_size_index() understands how to deal with this via dm_get_translation_offset() so use this instead of fdtdec_get_addr_size_auto_noparent(). * orion_wdt: Support for the Orion WatchdogMarek BehĂșn2017-07-121-0/+177
The Orion watchdog can be found on some Marvell Armada chips. This driver is based on the code by Tomas Hlavacek in the CZ.NIC turris-omnia-uboot repository, which can be found at https://gitlab.labs.nic.cz/turris/turris-omnia-uboot, and that one is based on code by Sylver Bruneau. His code is already in mainline Linux kernel. The code uses the new driver model API.
