* dm: Introduce dev_phys_to_bus()/dev_bus_to_phys()Nicolas Saenz Julienne2021-02-181-0/+17
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | These functions, instead of relying on hard-coded platform-specific address translations, make use of the DMA constraints provided by the DM core. This allows for per-device translations. We can't yet get rid of the legacy phys_to_bus()/bus_to_phys() implementations as some of its users are not integrated into the device model. * SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini2018-05-071-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* Create API to map between CPU physical and bus addressesStephen Warren2015-04-141-0/+25
On some SoCs, DMA-capable peripherals see a different address space to the CPU's physical address space. Create an API to allow platform-agnostic drivers to convert between the two address spaces when programming DMA operations. This API will exist on all platforms, but will have a dummy implementation when this feature is not required. Other platforms will enable CONFIG_PHYS_TO_BUS and provide the required implementation.
