Bump libgc version (for development of 8.2 release)

* README.md: Restore build status badges (Travis, AppVeyor, Codecov,
Coveralls, Coverity, LGTM).
* README.md: Bump version to 8.1.0.
* configure.ac: Likewise.
* include/gc_version.h (GC_TMP_VERSION_MINOR): Likewise.
