* ARM: davinci: drop DAVINCI_DMxxx referencesArnd Bergmann2023-01-121-5/+0
| | | | | | | | Support for all the dm3xx/dm64xx SoCs is no longer available, so drop all other references to those. Acked-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
* clk: davinci: remove PLL and PSC clocks for DaVinci DM644x and DM646xLukas Bulwahn2022-08-311-6/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Commit 7dd33764486d ("ARM: davinci: Delete DM644x board files") and commit b4aed01de486 ("ARM: davinci: Delete DM646x board files") removes the support for DaVinci DM644x and DM646x boards. Hence, remove the PLL and PSC clock descriptions for those boards as well. * clk: davinci: Use the correct style for SPDX License IdentifierNishad Kamdar2019-05-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch corrects the SPDX License Identifier style in header files related to Clock Drivers for Davinci Socs. For C header files Documentation/process/license-rules.rst mandates C-like comments (opposed to C source files where C++ style should be used) Changes made by using a script provided by Joe Perches here: https://lkml.org/lkml/2019/2/7/46 Suggested-by: Joe Perches <joe@perches.com> Signed-off-by: Nishad Kamdar <nishadkamdar@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@kernel.org>
* clk: davinci: Fix link errors when not all SoCs are enabledDavid Lechner2018-05-301-3/+8

* clk: davinci: da850-pll: change PLL0 to CLK_OF_DECLAREDavid Lechner2018-05-301-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | PLL0 on davinci/da850-type device needs to be registered early in boot because it is needed for clocksource/clockevent. Change the driver to use CLK_OF_DECLARE for this special case. * clk: davinci: pll: allow dev == NULLDavid Lechner2018-05-301-18/+12
| | | | | | | | | | | | This modifies the TI Davinci PLL clock driver to allow for the case when dev == NULL. On some (most) SoCs that use this driver, the PLL clock needs to be registered during early boot because it is used for clocksource/clkevent and there will be no platform device available. * clk: davinci: New driver for davinci PLL clocksDavid Lechner2018-03-201-0/+120
This adds a new driver for mach-davinci PLL clocks. This is porting the code from arch/arm/mach-davinci/clock.c to the common clock framework. Additionally, it adds device tree support for these clocks. The ifeq ($(CONFIG_COMMON_CLK), y) in the Makefile is needed to prevent compile errors until the clock code in arch/arm/mach-davinci is removed. Note: although there are similar clocks for TI Keystone we are not able to share the code for a few reasons. The keystone clocks are device tree only and use legacy one-node-per-clock bindings. Also the register layouts are a bit different, which would add even more if/else mess to the keystone clocks. And the keystone PLL driver doesn't support setting clock rates.
