Subject: Symbol.pm clobbers $_ at startup
perl -le 'BEGIN {$_="foo";} use Symbol; print qualify($_)'
I don't understand why the module want to initialize %global from
<DATA> in the first place. Perhaps we want to apply this patch
instead.
