As the code is portable C, there seems to be no harm in moving it to Configure, and running the test on all platforms. This reduces code duplication, and will reduce it further if another OpenBSD fork appears. * This week.

\| \| \| \| \| \| \| \| \| \|	Fix the cross makefile. makefile.SH treat us like openbsd. hints/bitrig.sh: remove all version number detection goop. this is for openbsd versions that are currently higher then the bitrig version number, so avoid foot shooting by throwing it out.
