* Rename CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE to CONFIG_TEXT_BASESimon Glass2022-10-311-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | The current name is inconsistent with SPL which uses CONFIG_SPL_TEXT_BASE and this makes it imposible to use CONFIG_VAL(). Rename it to resolve this problem. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* pmic: Convert pm8916 driver to a generic Qcom PMIC driverSumit Garg2022-08-261-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | Since both pm8916.c and pm8916_gpio.c are already supporting multiple Qcom SoCs, it makes sense to rename these drivers to pmic_qcom.c and qcom_pmic_gpio.c respectively. Also, these driver can be extended to support additional functionality if required for other Qcom SoCs. Along with this import latest DT binding: qcom,spmi-pmic.txt from Linux kernel and thereby remove pm8916.txt. Signed-off-by: Sumit Garg <sumit.garg@linaro.org>

* Migrate CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR to Kconfig using system-constants.hTom Rini2022-06-061-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Make all users of CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR reference SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR - Introduce HAS_CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR to allow for setting the stack pointer directly, otherwise we use the common calculation. - On some platforms that were using the standard calculation but did not set CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_SIZE / CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_ADDR, set them. - On a small number of platforms that were not subtracting GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE do so now via the standard calculation. - CONFIG_SYS_INIT_SP_OFFSET is now widely unused, so remove it from most board config header files. * env: Finish migration of common ENV optionsTom Rini2019-11-201-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - In ARMv8 NXP Layerscape platforms we also need to make use of CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR now, do so. - On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define to 0. - Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR. - Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it. - Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT - On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location. - On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default. - Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within ENV_IS_IN_FLASH. - Migrate all platforms. * env: Add CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR symbolTom Rini2019-11-201-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Today in initr_reloc_global_data() we use some non-obvious tests to determine if we need to relocate the env_addr within gd or not. In order to facilitate migration of other symbols to Kconfig we need to introduce a new symbol for this particular use case. * configs: Migrate CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKSTom Rini2018-08-161-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | We have the following cases: - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS was defined, migrate normally - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS_MAX was defined and then used for CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS after a check, just migrate it over now. - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS was very oddly defined on p2771-0000-* (to 1024 + 2), set this to 8. * configs: Re-sync with CONFIG_DISTRO_DEFAULTSTom Rini2018-02-231-5/+2
| | | | | | | | A number of platforms include config_distro_defaults.h but do not enable CONFIG_DISTRO_DEFAULTS. As they plainly intended to, set that flag and re-sync config files. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* configs: Migrate CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASETom Rini2018-02-111-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | On the NIOS2 and Xtensa architectures, we do not have CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE set. This is a strict migration of the current values into the defconfig and removing them from the headers. I did not attempt to add more default values in and for now will leave that to maintainers.
